Snuggly Saturday

I love Saturdays. Sleeping in, no morning rush stress, and waking up to this:

Filled with morning belly rubs.

According to her, there is no better thing in life. Except maybe for food. Do you see that belly?

Lots and lots of snuggling going on.

I can't help loving on these furry babies - open mouth and all. 

"OK, I'm over the snuggling now. Can we go eat?"

Lately...

Life has been busy lately. Sweet summertime is over, though the weather didn't get the memo until today. Fine by me. I'll take the heat over the cold anytime, any day. School is back in session both in teaching and being a student again. The smack back to reality stung a little in the beginning, but I'm slowly getting back into the routine now. We also got a new roommate!

My brother in law Josh moved back from Chicago to attend school here and is living with us for the school year. It's been a very easy transition, and the Beagles are loving it because someone is almost always home. Spoiled rotten critters I tell ya.

Homework...and watching Mad Men on Netflix. I have become addicted to this show, and I recently found out there are six seasons of it. I'm only on season two. Uh oh.

My house misses me and could use a good cleaning. My laundry basket is over flowing right now. I should probably be tending to this especially given the long weekend. But I think I'll just watch one more ten more Mad Men episodes instead. 

God bless long, lazy weekends after quite a few busy weeks.
