Snow Days

What better way to enter the blogging world than to write about the past two snow days? As a teacher, I had the luxary of getting an extra two days off after just three days (of teaching) back from winter break. I got the call at 5:15 Monday morning and another call last night at 8:00. Both times I did a little happy dance, much like all the kiddos who received the same great news - yes teachers love snow days too.

The Beagles were also quite happy for two snow days because a) they like playing in the snow even though they come back in freezing, b) mom got to stay home which meant they didn't have to be locked up in the laundry room, and c) they got to sleep - on the couch and under the blankets - all day!

Oh and I also did a little bit of this, although I'll be the first to admit I'm not very good at it. It's something I'm working on...maybe..sometimes.



That's about it. Here's to a short three day week of teaching and a three day weekend! Life is good!
